Vax Demonstrators

The Roles

The in store sales demonstrators are a critical part of the Vax sales team. Based in retail outlets around the country, they are the face of Vax and the only people who have the chance to speak to customers face to face and show them how great our products really are. We are now looking to grow this team nationally and have numerous vacancies on locations all around the UK.

What we're looking for

In an ideal world we'd like people who have some sales experience but this isn't essential; what's important is the ability to communicate well with customers, understand their needs and be passionate about our products as you demonstrate how they work. Full product training will be provided to ensure you’re fully equipped before entering your store.

What's on offer

All our roles are permanent and require you to work 15 hours over a Saturday and Sunday. We offer a competitive hourly rate and uncapped bonus potential so the more sales you close, the more you earn! You'll also receive paid holidays, staff purchase scheme, contributory pension scheme and great career development opportunities.

Niall's Story

Niall, who joined Vax as a Sales Demonstrator during his final year at University in November 2011, has progressed through the ranks and has recently been promoted again to become an Account Manager in our UK Sales team.

"After graduating in 2012 and working as a sales demonstrator for the company during my final year of studies, I was approached by my manager who advised me of an opportunity to progress. After successfully applying for the role of Territory Manager, I spent 11 months in this position before being encouraged to apply for the role of Account Executive. With the support of my manager and the company as a whole, I was successful and now work on the business's largest account. This progression has taken just 27 months, and I am already planning ahead and envisaging where I want to be in the next year and a half. This type of progression would be unthinkable in most firms, but the Vax philosophy makes it more than possible.

I would urge any graduate to make the most of this, and join a firm that helps to mould and support ambitious workers while providing them with a platform from which they can progress. Now that Vax is also recognised as one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies To Work For, there is even more reason to come on board!"
